Over 60 Division Update:
The board have discussed creation of the O-60 Division at August meeting. The discussions among the board members included: The availability and willingness of number of players to make at least 4 teams with minimum of 11 players. The field will be most likely where the other divisions play at. The games will be played during the week (to avoid conflict with the O-50 division). Inputs from captains will be considered to select the week day when the games are played. The registration fee, and start date has yet to be determined.
The Board has appointed Homa Karimi to work with potential captains to come up with the implementation plan which will be in harmony with O-50 and other divisions. This plan will be reviewed at the September meeting. We ask that all interested party for coaching and/or playing to text Homa ( 520-304-6887) or Email: write2homayoon@gmail.com

Metro Cup
The Metro Cup Tournament will begin its first week of play this Sunday, April 14th.
Your attention is directed to the League website for scheduling and to the League by-laws, section 6. Summarizing, any match that is tied following 90 minutes of regulation play, will be extended by two 15 minute halves utilizing the “Golden Goal” Rule. If neither team scores during the Golden Goal extension, the match will be decided by penalty kicks.
Any regular season suspension – due to red card or yellow card accumulation – will be served during Metro Cup play. However, any yellow cards accumulated during the regular season that have not resulted in suspension will be erased. Stated differently, an individual player’s yellow card accumulation will be wiped clean for the tournament.
Have fun and enjoy.
