TMSL’s Pandemic Operational Plan
Tucson Men’s Soccer League will review with all our participants the following directives to return to play.
Players will not be allowed to participate in the game without having on their person a face cover (mask or gator).
Every player and team representative must wear a face cover (securely covering their nose and mouth) when a physical distance of 6 feet cannot be maintained whether on the sidelines or field.
Players must apply their face covers for set plays or a game situation where physical distancing of 6 feet is not possible for more than a minute. Some examples are corner kicks, free kicks and throw ins.
Everyone must continue to sanitize their hands before and after each game. No shaking of hands after a match.
No player should be playing with any symptoms or if they have been exposed to family members that are COVID positive
At this time we are asking teams to not invite spectators. If there are spectators they must observe social distancing of 6 feet, if this cannot be done then face coverings must be worn. Spectators cannot congregate in groups near the sidelines or players.
Referees will wear face coverings when a physical distance of 6 feet can’t be kept during the game.
The soccer season may be discontinued upon the State or County governing boards deciding it is unsafe to continue playing.
Kino has increased the number of bag checks and has the right to restrict entrance. See there website for more information.
