Hello TMSL Community!
We are all deeply concerned about the current public health situation and the continued spread of COVID-19. We want you to know that the health and safety of our stakeholders (players, referees, fans, and others) is our priority. The TMSL Board is assessing ordinance and safety recommendations of county and state health organizations on a daily basis and is following those recommendations to ensure the safety of TMSL stakeholders. For this reason, there is still some uncertainty as to the future scheduling of Cup games and the rest of the season. The TMSL Board will continue to monitor and assess the situation and stay informed of local and state recommendations. Please visit the TMSL website regularly for updates.
Please stay safe,
The TMSL Board
Hello TMSL Community!!!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times. It is time to provide another update on our plans for the league. A few days ago the board met and decided that the current season will not resume and is considered over at this time due to the pandemic. After a long discussion it was also decided through a vote that no champion team would be declared for the season.
With regards to the upcoming summer season, at this time we are on hold until further direction on contact sports comes from the CDC and Governor’s office. We are aware some local or state governments are making plans to reopen the economy, and of course we are watching this closely. However, as a contact sport, the reopening of certain businesses or economies does not mean we can provide a safe platform on the field despite our great desires to do so. Our biggest priority is to keep our players and their families healthy and safe, and with this in mind, the board feels that it is best to wait just a little bit longer. We will continue to keep you informed of new developments as they arise.
If there is anything we can do, please let us know. It is our full intention to bring TMSL back
once it is safe to do so.
Sincerely,
Your TMSL Board
