As we begin a new TMSL season, there are a few things to keep in mind and share with your players.
1. TMSL provided, Chapman Jerseys are REQUIRED for every match. No Jersey, no play. Neither the Referees, nor your Opponent can change or modify this requirement.
2. US Soccer has modified some of our Rules. These Rule Changes have been shared with both Team Representatives and Referees. Please review them with your teams.
3. If you are dissatisfied with the performance of a Referee Crew or an individual Referee, there is a Referee Evaluation Form on the TMSL website – www.tmslsoccer.com. Please share your concerns with the League. Likewise, Referee Evaluation Forms can also be used to compliment quality officiating.
4. Remind your players that “getting in the face” of a match official either verbally or physically will not be tolerated. This is an adult, recreational league and adult behavior at all times is expected and required.
5. Likewise, overly physical or verbal exchanges with fellow players will not be tolerated. As with abusive behavior towards Referees, similar behavior toward fellow players will result in liberal suspensions and fines, if not expulsion from League play.
